A boutique festival who’s focus is all about celebrating eccentricity and not the line-up. Famous for its random hedonistic acts which can happen at anywhere at any time, with no clear line between on and off stage. Secret Garden Party has always been a FanGirl Favourite. Body Movements is returning for its third summer session this July. The festival, which was founded by producer and DJ Saoirse and Little Gay Brother’s Clayton Wright as a celebration of queer club culture, will bring together 29 LGBTQI+ collectives from around the UK and beyond for a full day of music and dance. This one will be to be flooded with talent from the queer underground.

 

FanGirl Fact: The festival’s line-up is the first to be entirely made up of under-represented artists, with 90% of those performing being women, trans and non-binary artists of various ethnicities.

Interesting Fact: Check The Star of EE Pub… the pop-up boozer. A cheeky nod to founder and owner Rob Starr’s family of pubs which include the legendary Star of Kings Cross and Star of Bethnal Green. Both of which have earned their place in the London Hall of Fame, if you haven’t been to a cheeky rave up in either.. where have you been?
